Bucket lists aren’t just about boxes checked; they’re about living fully, being present, and finding joy in both the highs and lows. For me, it was also filled with hidden anxieties as Cassie chased her dreams at MSU while battling cancer. This is a story of resilience, humor, and the resources that help students thrive.

Father’s Day hasn’t felt the same for Chris, Cassie’s dad, since she passed away 13 years ago. This year, at Base2Summit—her cancer camp for young adults—He spent the day cooking, sharing stories, and feeling her spirit move through every moment. It was a powerful reminder for Chris of how grief and joy can coexist.
