Christopher Hines
President
Chris Hines is Cassie’s father. He is currently a financial advisor with Edward Jones. He worked for Big Boy restaurants for twenty years, holding positions from Restaurant Manager, District Supervisor, Training Director, Human Resources Director, and Director of Franchise Operations and finally Big Boy restaurant owner.
Chris served on the Board of Directors for The Shelby Lions Football Club for three years and volunteered with St. Michael’s Church providing breakfast for the homeless through the MCREST program for twelve years. Chris currently serves on the Board of Director’s for the Shelby Lion’s Club and Orchard Ridge Church of the Nazarene.
Chris is married to his wife Karen and together they have three children and two grandchildren.
Karen Hines
Vice President
Karen Hines is the mother of Cassie and was her primary caregiver. She is a full-time dental hygienist at Dr. Christopher Press Family Dental Practice and has been there since 1992.
Karen is a graduate of Ferris State University dental hygiene class of 1984. She has numerous hours of continuing education and is current in CPR and first aid.
Karen has been married to Chris and together they have three children and two grandchildren.
Jeffrey Priskey
Treasurer
Jeff is Cassie’s brother-in-law. He is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Michigan and is currently a Technical Accounting and External Reporting Manager for Nexteer Automotive.
Jeff graduated from John Carroll University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Accountancy. While attending John Carroll University, Jeff was a member of the ACHA Division I Club Hockey team and served as Club Treasurer for 3 years. In addition, Jeff holds a Master in Business Administration from the University of Detroit Mercy.
Jeff and his wife Ashley reside in Macomb, Michigan and together they have two children.
Ashley (Hines) Priskey
Secretary
Ashley Priskey is Cassie’s sister. Currently, Ashley is an HR Manager at DTE Energy.
Ashley holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Resource Management as well as Marketing from Oakland University. In addition, she holds a Master of Business Administration from Wayne State University.
Ashley is married to Jeff Priskey and together they have two children. Ashley resides in Macomb, Michigan.
Jane Didio
Director
Jane has known Karen and Chris for over 25 years. Jane is retired from the accounting department after 14 years at Graphics East, Inc where she oversaw the accounts receivable department.
While raising her children Jane has volunteered in all the schools her children attended. While her 3 children were at L’Anse Creuse Middle School North she was the Parent Advisory Committee President where she volunteered to raise over $100,000 in funds for MSN.
Jane was the Partnership Liaison for the Foundation and continues in that position before being elected to the Board.
Jane and her husband Chris have 3 children, Maria, Christopher and Natalie and she resides in Macomb Township.
Michelle Morris
Director
Michelle Morris is Vice President of Global Services across Facebook’s US Automotive, Financial Services, Real Estate, Insurance, Restaurants and Education business. Michelle leads a national team transforming the way industries connect, communicate, and drive business in a mobile first and personal world. She helps clients and agencies use Facebook to build brands, acquire new customers and craft owner advocacy strategies. Michelle leads with an entrepreneurial passion fueled by her knowledge of both traditional and digital mediums and is a champion for Franchisee/Local marketing efforts.
Prior to Facebook, Michelle built Google’s North American automotive manufacturing and dealerships business as Managing Director responsible for creative, direct response and strategic brand activation. For nearly 8 years, she led teams across multiple coasts and notable contributions included the launch of custom research, creation of new sub-verticals to drive focused growth and the establishment of Google’s bankruptcy policy which kept accounts active while recovering 100% of spend. Michelle’s industry and marketing expertise helped deepen Google’s Automotive relationships beyond advertising for Google Maps, Android and in-vehicle integrations.
Before joining Google, Michelle served as Group Senior Vice President and Account Director of the Chrysler brand at Chrysler’s ad agency BBDO, responsible for all aspects of Chrysler’s advertising, CRM, event partnerships and product placement efforts. At BBDO for over 8 years, Michelle also held executive leadership roles in the agency’s corporate marketing, dealer/franchise training and human resource departments. Never one to turn down a challenge, Michelle’s teams improved agency turnaround times while launching new mediums to help their clients reach customers.
A people first leader highly capable of navigating ambiguity, Michelle began her career in Human Resources as an Executive Director in the innovative partnered staffing division of Kelly Services, managing branches embedded within key client locations.
Michelle has shared her integrated marketing experience at industry conferences conducted by J.D. Power, the National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA), Mobile World Congress and the Direct Marketing Association. She was honored as a Crain’s 40 under 40 professional in 2010, one of Vista Maria’s 2012 Celebrating Women award winners and a 2015 Rising Star by The Automotive News.
Michelle serves as a committee member of the 30% Club and finds great reward in helping all publicly traded boards get to 30% representation of women by 2020. Michelle is a founding board member of the Cassie Hines Shoes Cancer foundation, a 501(c)(3) that helps young adults diagnosed with cancer, founder of the Scott Stephenson Eastern Echo Scholarship and an advocate for Suicide Prevention and Awareness.
Michelle earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Michigan State University and lives in the Greater Detroit Area with her husband, two children, gecko and 3 cats.
Michael Swiatkowski
Director
Mike is a friend of the Hines family. His presently is a Senior Project Manager at Ghafari & Associates, an architectural engineering firm in Dearborn, Michigan. At Ghafari & Associates, Mike manages overall engineering and design requirements for equipment set projects and facility projects for the Automotive Industry and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs). Mike has been on the Board of the Eisenhower High School Athletic Booster Club for the past seven years, three years as the Secretary, and the past four years as the President. During his time on the Eisenhower Athletic Booster Club he has raised $177,000 in six years at the Annual Spring Auction. Four of those six years, Mike was the Chairperson of the Annual Spring Auction.
Mike obtained his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Wayne State University.
Mike is married to Kim and together they have four children, Michael, Ryan, Eric, & Kyle. They currently live in Shelby Township, Michigan.
Ron Valentine
Director
Ron Valentine is Cassie’s uncle. He is currently Chief Financial Officer at Encore Rehabilitation Services.
Ron has been delivering complete financial solutions to middle market companies in Southeastern Michigan for over 20 years. Prior to joining Encore Rehabilitation Services he worked at The PrivateBank and LaSalle Bank where his responsibilities included managing a commercial banking office, developing new client relationships, maintaining and growing existing client relationships, staff development and general office administration.
Ron has previously been the Treasurer and a Board Member of the St. Patrick School Parents Club and the Birchwood Park II Homeowner’s Association. Additionally, Ron has coached youth soccer, baseball and football teams and has held leadership positions within Boy Scouts of America.
Ron holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the University of Michigan.
Ron is married to Renee and together they have three children, Madison, Jack and Alex. They currently reside in West Bloomfield, Michigan.
Domenic Venditti
Director
Domenic Venditti is a family friend of the Hines family. Currently Domenic is a Senior Financial Analyst at FCA US, LLC. As part of the Corporate Accounts Payable team he leads a group of professionals that are responsible for settlement of inter-company charges across multiple regions of the world. He has held Director level positions in billion dollar organizations and non-profit organizations.
Domenic was the Treasurer of the Shelby Lions Youth Football Club from 2004-2008. He also was a Head and Assistant Coach for the Shelby Lions Youth Football Club from 1998-2012. Domenic has been a volunteer in the Habitat for Humanity organization from 2006-2012. He is also involved in the Macomb Charitable Foundation.
Domenic holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, majoring in Finance and Business Economics from Wayne State University. He also has a Master in Business Administration from Wayne State University in Finance and Business Economics.
Domenic is married to Margaret and together they have three children Robert, Andrew, and Daniel. They currently reside in Macomb, Michigan.
Jacqueline Zawierucha
Director
Jacki Zawierucha is Cassie’s aunt and Godmother. She is the Media Specialist at Beacon Tree Elementary School in the Utica Community School District. Jacki teaches technology to all students, kindergarten through sixth grade, as well as operates the library. She has been a teacher in the Utica Community Schools for 18 years. Jacki’s experience includes chairing various committees including School Improvement, North Central Association of Colleges and Schools, and Blue Ribbon Exemplary Schools of Michigan. Currently, Jacki is the District Chairperson for the Media Specialists in the Utica Community Schools. She also is a facilitator for Code.org teaching students and teachers computer science.
Jacki graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice. She then continued on and obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Oakland University. Jacki also received a Master of Arts Curriculum and Leadership degree from Wayne State University.
Jacki is married to Brian and together they have three children. They currently live in Macomb Township, Michigan.
Grace DeMeulenaere
Director of Public Relations
Grace is Cassie’s cousin. She is currently a Social Content Analyst at Publicis Sapient where is she responsible for social media content creation and monitoring for FCA. She worked previously at Finn Partners as an Account Executive where she was responsible for establishing and maintaining a positive public presence for various clients. Her goal for the foundation is to help spread awareness through media outreach and social media.
She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations from Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
