Our Foundation has two major events, spaced six months apart, that we rely on to provide the fuel to support our programming. Both events have a personality of their own and are unique in nature, yet identical in the outcome; everyone has a great time! 

The CHSCF Annual Gala, normally scheduled on the first Saturday in March, is a black-tie event with spectacular auction items, delicious food, open bar and a dance floor that’s packed all night long!

The CHSCF Glow Run 5k and 1 mile Walk in the Park, is normally scheduled on the third Saturday of September beginning at Jimmy John’s Field in downtown Utica. The 5K event leaves Jimmy John’s field and travels the Riverbends Trail at dusk. This gives the runners a chance to show off their glow gear before circling back to the park for a post event beverage and hotdog. 

We want everyone who participates in our events to feel like you are part of our family. Please know you do make a difference in the life of a young adult managing a cancer diagnosis.
